ABOUT THE PIECES OF STARS ALBUM / PROJECT:

My vision for this album is to create a collection of beautiful, unique & inspiring songs with out the restriction of genre. I am currently creating this album  and invite you to join me on my journey.  Each song is inspired by the world around me & my own life and is written as it's own stand alone piece of music, although each song
is different and definitive, they are a collection with a common musical thread and point of view; if you would imagine, an exhibition of music through a musical journey. The songs were written from 1997 up until the present. Each song is self recorded, produced, written, arranged and mostly self played, in my home studio.  Additionally some special guest musicians are featured in collaboration and their parts are recorded in their respective studios. No auto tune or the like has been used. My philosophy is getting back to the art and creation of music, which is not overly produced or created solely to be catchy for the sake of money, but rather for inspiration, aural beauty & insight. Genres elements and influences include, world, folk, jazz, pop, soul, r n b, classical & rock. These songs are apart of who I am and an expression from the stars and my heart of how I see the world around me & myself. I really hope you enjoy my music and sharing this musical journey with me! This is the start of an exciting path for me & I sincerely thank you for your support.

1. On We Go  - Kris Hithgoda (Preview)

Trying to find my self, trying to find my place make a mark on this world

Trying to find my way, trying to make the best of, make the best of...

But it's even hard to make it through the week, I've got to fight,

I've got to keep going on and keep head strong.

Yeah we all fall down...but on we go.

Trying to find myself, trying to find a space I can belong...

Trying to make it special and remind myself I can be strong.

It is really hard, when i can't even sleep, every night I try but it's a long battle.

Yeah we all fall down...but on we go.

2. All Across The World  - Kris Hithgoda (Preview)

You're all across the world, but I'll find you, I'll find you.

Say, You're all across the world, but I'll find you, I'll find you.

I know I've known your heart before,

I crossed the line and fell in love.

I want you to never end, and it weighs on my heart.

Borders and skies await, borders and skies inside me...

And you're all across the world, but I'll find you, I'll find you.

Say, you're all across the world, but I'll find you, I'll find you.

Yeah.

A letter of you sealed thoughts and memories.

International holder of my heart.

3. City Lights  - Kris Hithgoda (Preview)

From a line to a line connecting point yeah.

Travel time to feel insight, a starlight path to each other.

It's the way we will find the darkness meets the sunrise,

City lights, neon bright, we always find each other...

City lights, city lights, city lights, city lights, city lights, city lights,

city lights, city lights, city lights...

Concrete flight, city plight merge as a voice yeah,

Sirens on until the dawn, smokey space in trickling time.

Bubbles high, floating mind to a fading skyline.

City lights, neon bright, we always find each other...

City lights, city lights, city lights, city lights, city lights, city lights,

city lights, city lights, city lights...

Take me to a higher place, lines of grey set in the pace.

Out here in the grid of time, a pin point in between the sigh.

Riptide in the frantic flow, drifting and nowhere to go.

Traffic lights, blind meet the blind in a city of...city lights.
